Malcolm Turner is a graphic designer, illustrator and musician based in Bristol, UK. His career history has included studio based consultancy, freelance illustration, graphic design and lecturing on Degree level programmes in graphic design. His current work for illustration and print investigates the medium of collage, with a focus on the visual aesthetic achieved with the use of aged, period/trend based ephemera, predominantly from the last century. He is particularly concerned with the organisation of space and the balance and juxtaposition of elements on the page. Recent work also explores the use of digital intervention in the image/illustration building process.
